While I was reading Replay by Shron Creech, I found some words that I didn't understad..

-beckon: to signal or summon someone

-vague: when somene dosen't say or express some thing clear enough to undersand

-valve: a part in a instrument where you can change how it sounds

-dismay: to alarm or suprise someone

-crone: a scary evil looking old lady
